If you look on the internet you can find many miracles of animals being rescued. You can also find pets that have been abandoned and are up for adoption. You can find all kinds of loving pets from cats, dogs, horses and almost any kind of animal. Many animals are put to death because the shelters are overrun with abandoned pets.

Sometimes there are pets that get found by loving owners and that is one of the miracles. One woman was driving home down a country road on a Sunday. She drove over what looked like a black plastic bag. She heard a thump when she drove over it and looked in the rear view mirror to see why. She saw a little black kitty raise up from the street and run for the side of the road. She went back and picked up the cat. She then drove to the veterinarian's office with it. It was a miracle that the cat only had a slight road rash. It had no other problems. The woman adopted the little black cat and named it Lucky.

One person wrote about going by a house and seeing a little dog with puppies. The owners had put them outside in the cold. The person reported them to the human society who took care of the problem. After Hurricane Katrina there were many pets that had to be abandoned. A lot of people have gone back and rescued their pets, but many are still missing. There was nothing they could have done differently. They were all running for their lives.

The Bible is filled with fascinating stories and miracles that are inspiring and uplifting. Many of the Bible characters that we read about were given a special talent for healing and other miraculous powers. Both the new and old testaments of the Bible contain amazing miracles that can not be explained by the average human.

The very beginning of the Bible is a miracle within itself. It talks about the creation of the entire universe, the animals, and the human race. Nothing is more miraculous than the genetic make-up of the human body. Just thinking about each and every working part will absolutely blow your mind.

Many stories are told in the Bible about miraculous healing, and even instances when life was given back to certain people. Jesus himself brought life back to Lazarus and healed many people of life threatening diseases. Many events in the Bible are filled with miraculous happenings that the human mind can not comprehend. Aaron's rod was turned into a serpent, a burning bush was not consumed, and Lot's wife was turned into pillar of salt. All of these were performed through the power of God.

Another miraculous event was Elijah being carried into heaven. An even greater miracle was the Red Sea parting for the Israelites to pass through. We also read about water turning sweet and another instance where it was changed to a bitter taste. The most famous miracle of all is when Jesus turned the water into wine. This was the first record of miracles performed by Jesus, but there were many to follow. Even today, these miraculous stories are still loved and admired by everyone that reads them.

Some people don't believe in miracles in sports. It is their right to feel that way, but many believe differently. First, you have to understand what a miracle is. A miracle is characteristics of a situation that reach beyond what is normally a probable outcome. In sports, that means plays and victories that most people had only ever dream could occur.

If you do believe in miracles in sports, you would have to remember the 1980 Olympics. The U.S. hockey team was made up of college students. The Soviet Union had a history of winning every international game. It was expected that the Soviet Union would take home the gold. The Cold War was raging at that time, making it a scary time for our boys to go up against the best team in the world. The college boys won with a score of 4-3 in a close game they were never expected to ever have a chance in.

For 70 years, the Boston Red Sox felt like they were playing with a curse placed on them by the departure of Babe Ruth. The teams spent years trying to achieve victory despite the near supernatural odds against them. In 2004, the curse was broken as the Boston Red Sox won the World Series!

The Red Sox had to first win the American League Championships. This is the series that leads up to the World Series. Whichever team wins the best out of seven games goes on to play in the World Series. The Yankees had won three of the games and were winning the fourth in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Red Sox were able to able to come back and win the fourth game as well as the next three. This allowed them to play in the World Series. They played against the St. Louis Cardinals and won. If breaking 70-plus years of bad luck isn’t a miracle, then who knows what else could be?

God is performing miracles everyday, and most of us don't even realize that it's happening. Some miracles are smaller than others, and are often overlooked. Every miracle is significant, and a gift from God.

Christians truly believe all things are possible through God. One example of this is about how God transformed one mans life. This person got involved with drugs and alcohol at a very early age. By the time he was 15, he was stealing cars and dealing drugs. This lifestyle left him suicidal and depressed as an adult. He developed a chronic disease, and a rare case of intense migraine headaches that occurred 5-7 times a day. Doctors told him there was no cure. Two of his brothers had invited him to a tent revival meeting. At this time he had totally denied any religion and God, but he reluctantly agreed to go. He had decided to go home and commit suicide after attending the revival. He sat at the meeting very skeptical, but listened anyways. The preacher gave a powerful sermon and looked at the man and told him God loved him and cared for him despite his shortcomings. The message touched the man, and for the first time in his life he felt something more than resentment, bitterness, and hate. The preacher told him all he had to do was accept God's salvation and love. The man said to God, please free me from my addiction and disease, and gave his life to Jesus. That was 20 years ago, the man is still a Christian, and free of the torment and pain he once felt.

God's miracles are evident everywhere we look. From the birth of a baby, to how he provides for all the animals on earth. All we have to do is keep our hearts open.

There are many miracles of lottery winners, but not all are good. One definition of winning money is "It can give you anything you want except happiness and take you anywhere you want to go except to heaven." There are some who have spent the money in good ways. They have helped their family and friends to do things. Many times the end is not good though. One man was blessed to win $16.2 million. He helped his siblings to start two businesses but they didn't get along any better. After only 1 year he was $1 million dollars in debt.

Sometimes the lottery miracles do wonderful things. One man made his living with a catering truck and a was part time life coach. He had seven kids that were very happy but he said they sometimes had to struggle to make ends meet. He had told people that he was going to win the lottery and retire. He was surprised when he won. He donated their catering truck, retired and had a dream home built.

On Main Street in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA, there is a stretch of stores called the "Miracle Mile." One of the stores is called Ma & Pa's Convenience store. It is the luckiest store in all of the USA. It has sold more winning lottery tickets than any other store. If you think winning a lot of money is a miracle, then many miracles have come from that store.

Many of the winners of huge sums of money from lottery tickets are broke within a years time. It is hard to believe. Maybe it is a miracle to win, or maybe it is a curse.
