Miracle Lottery Winners

Winning the lottery is definitely a miracle. Take the gentleman from Croatia that endured a train wreck, a plane wreck, a bus crash, a car crash twice, driving off a cliff and living through being hit by a city bus to win a million dollar lottery in 2003. Could this be devine intervention? Sometimes a faulty memory causes one to win the lottery twice. Take the case of a 57-year-old man that bought his regular numbers twice, but forgot about one of the tickets. When his numbers came up and he won, it was a week later that he remembered that he had bought another ticket and hence, had doubled his share of the pot.

Not every winner has the good fortune to collect after winning the lottery. In 2004, Carl Atwook of Elwood, Indiana, won over $73,000 in an Indiana lottery game. He died only a few hours later by being struck down by a truck while walking to the grocery store that had sold him the winning ticket. He was on his way to thank the store for selling him his ticket.

Not all winners have lives of great success, as it is documented that most lose all of their money and end up in debt. Too often, a winner recklessly spends the money without regard to it drying up sometime. Unless the money is making money, there is going to come a time when it is all gone and results of over spending take effect.
