Modern Miracles

It is said there is a world of difference between a major miracle and a minor miracle. The major miracle is when something wonderfully strange and unexplained happens to you personally. A minor miracle is what happens to the other person. Some suggest there is belief in seeing a miracle yourself instead of someone else just explaining a miracle to you.

For a few years, between 1990 and 1997, several major miracles appeared on the scene from many different points of the world. Some have concluded that this seven year period of miraculous events were pointing toward the presence or appearance of a divine creature such as Krishna or Jesus Christ. Others suggested it pointed to Allah and that his power would increase in the world.

Beginning in 1990, there were a dozen reports of a mysterious hitchhiker wearing white and declaring the return of Christ was imminent. Then, this rider in the moving car just simply disappeared. In 1991, similar reports came in from Dallas, Texas, with seven cases and several witnesses. Then in 1995, the world became aware of milk drinking Hindu statues. The religious leaders saw this as a sign of a great soul descending to Earth. Muslims have seen the name of Allah in items like watermelons, cut fruit and misshapen eggs. During 1996 – 1997, there was the image of the Virgin Mary on a building in south Florida that drew thousands of visitors.

In 1996, a young Lebanese girl had crystal tears. The 12-year-old claimed a man appeared to her and told her he was a messenger from God. Other miracles include statues weeping blood, a weeping Madonna and a statue of the Virgin Mary that sweats oil. Plus, there is reference to white buffalo calves being born as a sign of world peace on the horizon. Lastly, the sign of the red heifer is an indication of the coming messiah to the people of Israel.
