Miracles

There are many times in life when the unexplainable happens. In some cases, the unexplainable is good, and in other cases, it can be bad. When these occurrences are good, they are sometimes considered miracles. A miracle is an event that is contrary to nature. They are when the impossible is made possible.

In one particular miracle, a young woman is pregnant. When she first found out that she was pregnant, she scheduled a doctor appointment. The result of her ultrasound had her devastated because the baby that she would be carrying for nine months was dead. In order for the young woman to come out of her state of denial, she asked for a stronger machine to do the ultrasound. The results were still the same. Seeking comfort, the young woman began to talk to her mother. Together, they fasted and prayed. The young woman's mother then told her to get just one more ultrasound. The miracle occurred when the woman and doctors found that the baby was not dead after all. Today, she has a beautiful daughter.

Another miracle took place in Castalian Springs, Tennessee. A couple of hours after a tornado came through the town, two firefighters by the name of David Harmon and Karl Wegner were looking for survivors. During their search, they had already found a dead young woman nearby and then they found a baby stroller. Near the baby stroller was a baby. After taking the baby boy to the hospital, they got the identity of the child and the baby boy was treated for minor injuries. The 25lb baby had been hurled the exact same length of a football being thrown. The young woman that was found nearby was the baby's mother. After surviving the tornado, baby Kyson was placed in the care of his grandparents. It was a miracle that he survived being thrown so far.

Although some things are wonderful, yet strange, they happen for the best. The two stories of the unexplained above are truly miracles. They are miracles that are based on life and show that the impossible can become possible.
