Miracles Are From God

What are miracles and why does God perform them? The Bible is full of these powerful works done by God, or Jesus, through God. They go against the norm, and many philosophers weren't sure about them. They always had to find a reason why the thing that happened, actually happened. They couldn't believe it for what it was, a miracle.

Anyone who has held a baby, seen a sunset or felt the warmth of the sun on their back, has experienced a miracle. After all, aren't humans one of God's greatest miracles? Creation started after God made all the world and animals to be on it. Then, God just breathed into dust, and there was Adam. He put Adam to sleep, took out a rib, and made Eve. There are so many others, like when Jesus, through God, healed the blind, possessed, sick, and brought Lazarus back to life.

God sat at the top of Mount Sinai and when Moses reached the top, all he saw was a burning bush. Then, God began to speak to Moses, wanting him to free his people in Egypt. When the Romans didn't allow the people to go, God brought upon the ten plagues. This was to prove God's existence to the Pharaoh. He turned Moses' stick into a snake, water into blood, as well as took the lives of the first-born of all Egyptian families, unless blood was on the door. When the Pharaoh finally allowed his people to go, God parted the Red Sea, so they could escape.

The miracles God has performed and is still performing is to help His people. He does it for our good, just like then. Do we believe them to be miracles or just something that happened a certain way? Perhaps if people look at things differently, they may see God right there with them.
