The Holy Bible is a book of miracles. From the beginning to the end, it tells of God's love for us. Even today, we can look at the beauty that surrounds us and know that everything started with a miracle. Here are just a few of the wondrous things that God has done.
God sent an angel down to save Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from a fiery furnace. These three wouldn't pray to an idol, so the king was going to have them killed. However, God protected them so they didn't even get hurt. He also sent an angel down to Daniel when he was forced into the lion's den because he wouldn't bow down to the king, who was Daniel's friend. The hungry lions didn't even scratch Daniel and when the king saw this, he was amazed. The king then knew that Daniel prayed to the one and only God.
God gave us Jesus, through Mary, a young girl of about 13. She was specially chosen by God to give birth to Jesus, the son of God. He was born in a lowly manger, and the star guided the way for the ones who saw Him. Jesus came to die on the cross for our sins, but He also healed blind men, healed lame men so they could walk, healed many sicknesses and fed thousands from just a few fish and loaves of bread.
God showed not only His power throughout the Bible, but His love for us and He still does today. Maybe that's the biggest miracle of all. No matter what we do, God still loves us and gives all a chance for eternal life.
