As many think about each new day, they realize that it is a gift of God. God performed miracles, and the Earth is one. He made this home millions of years ago, but He is still performing miracles everyday, if people just know where to look.
Even though many say that certain good things that happen are miracles, a true miracle is only from God. God can and does give the power to everyday people now, just like He did in the Bible. He gave Moses the power to save his people, the Hebrews, from Egypt's pharaoh by the plagues and Moses parting the Red Sea. As one reads the Bible, they'll find many more miracles too numerous to count. God saved the world when Noah built the ark, He saved Daniel in the lion's den and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who wouldn't bow down to an idol, when they were thrown in a fiery furnace, and that's only a few.
Jesus Christ is another miracle. He came to Earth as a baby, and the star that shone in the sky over Bethlehem was a miracle. Even today, scientists can't figure that one out, although many have tried. Jesus healed many, like when He helped the blind see, the lame walk, and fed thousands with only 5 fish and 3 loaves of bread. He also brought people back from the dead, like Lazarus. Jesus also performed the greatest miracle, which many will be celebrating this Sunday. Jesus died on the cross for sinners to be saved. God rose Him from the dead that blessed Easter morning.
